All Things New

April, 28th | Posted by T.Crombie

A lot of things happening everybody! It’s a new website, a new blog, a new Spring season and a new season happening in my life. I’m excited about this blog and what the Lord plans to do with it. So whether we talk worship or weather its my hope that you’ll be encouraged.

Honestly I’m on cloud nine! This last Sunday, April 22nd at 10:31AM life completely changed. Zion Elizabeth Crombie, my first born child, was born into this world. She is the most beautiful thing I’ve ever seen in my life and I had no idea I could love something this much (or someone rather). She is so cute my heart melts, so tiny I can hold her like a football, and so wonderful I’ll change dirty diapers and lose sleep no problem.

The fact of the matter is my daughter has me completely twitter-pated. Psalm 127:3 says:

“Behold, children are a heritage from the LORD, the fruit of the womb a reward.”

We look at this verse and also many other verses throughout the Bible and see that children are nothing less than an absolute blessing! The world ┬áhas made children burdensome but the Bible shows us that our Heavenly Father sees children as a heritage, a blessing, and a complete joy! “For to such belongs the kingdom of heaven.”

John 1:12 says:
“But to all who did receive him, who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God”

My point is this: God sees children as only a blessing. If you have received Christ and believed in His name God sees you as His child and YOU as a blessing!

I love my daughter because she is mine. She eats, she sleeps, she needs her diaper changed often but I love her. I delight in her because she is my flesh and bone. I actually can’t even express how much I love her I love her so much!

With all that to say God loves us infinitely more than I love my daughter because we’re His children. If we’ve received him and believed in him were His and He sees us as a blessing.

God bless
