Francisco and Carol de Marin administrate Casa Hogar, a home for disadvantaged and handicapped children in Oaxaca, Mexico. Working to break the cycle of poverty, Casa Hogar is a place where these children can receive medical care and an education that they would have no hope of obtaining otherwise. Most importantly, this “home that is a home” is a place where these children learn about the love that God has for them. The River Church is a monthly financial supporter of Casa Hogar.

Loving Hands Ministry

In Arachaie, Haiti

Arachaie is a small village about an hour away from Port-au-Prince, the capital of Haiti. It is so poor, most people live in grass shacks and live on very little food. Pastor Joseph Rene, who oversees over 27 pastors of Haitian churches, is dedicated to helping these people, providing not only physical food, but spiritual food as well. In addition to a regular child sponsorship, The River Church supports Pastor Rene monthly and has sent several work teams to this area in Haiti, helping to build a church that is also used as a school. Plans are underway for an orphanage and medical clinic in the same area.
