CHILDREN

We love children! 

The Children’s Ministry at The River Church is Christ-centered, safe, and fun!  Our heart is to help our children grow up to each have their own sincere and personal relationship with God.

Through biblical, age-appropriate curriculum and wholesome activities, our many caring volunteers at The River Church seek to help kids come to faith in Jesus Christ and help them learn what it means to live as His disciple.  We believe that today’s children are tomorrow’s leaders and should be a priority in the church!

NURSERY

Nursery care is available during the entire service for children ages 6 – 24 months.

SUNDAY SCHOOL

Children sit with their parents during the Worship segment of our service.  After worship they are dismissed to their classes.  Groups are as listed below.

  • (Age) 2’s & 3’s
  • Preschool / Kindergarten
  • Grades 1 & 2
  • Grades 3 & 4
  • Grades 5 & 6

MIDDLE SCHOOL

Middle School is an age of change and transition for kids.  We encourage children in 7th Grade and upward to move into the Student Ministry where they will learn how to follow God as a teenager.  On Sundays they stay with the adults for the entire service.
